Through this summit, CMI also expanded the global influence of our 5G solutions, strengthening the collaboration among telecom industry partners. The cooperative relationship is expected to achieve greater achievements through 5G in the future.
Gao Tongqing, Vice President of China Mobile, proposed four initiatives for the global industry to address the huge opportunities and challenges of 5G development. Firstly, he emphasized the need to focus on co-innovation. Industries must continuously promote collaborative innovation in 5G technology and application scenarios, improve the standard and maturity of the industrial chain, and prepare for long-term 5G development. The second initiative is to focus on co-construction. It is crucial to promote the continuous development of global 5G construction and interconnection, build 5G infrastructure across the globe for the benefit of the world, promote mutual support of 5G frequency bands by terminal modules in different countries, and foster large-scale 5G development and roaming without boundaries. Thirdly, amid the digital transformation of global industries, co-exploration is the key to establish international standards and benchmarks for the development of 5G smart factories, smart transportation, smart cities, and global solutions, leading the informatized market towards 5G and promoting the formation of the 5G industrial chain. Mr. Gao said the last initiative is to achieve win-win situation. It is important to seize the development opportunities brought by the latest surge in the digital economy and build a communication mechanism to exchange 5G development experience. Companies and clients can work together to seek opportunities in the 5G industry, thus starting a broader, deeper, and more open collaboration to win the future of the 5G industry.
Li Feng, Chairman and CEO of China Mobile International, emphasized the importance of win-win collaboration. Establishing an industrial ecosystem and achieving resource complementarity are essential for better mutual growth. He said the hi-H Program will continue to work together with the world, adhering to its motto of "openness," "connectivity," and "collaboration." It invites existing and new members to collaborate and work jointly on 5G initiative cooperation in the fields of international roaming, IoT, digital industrial application solutions, and 5G private networks. Together with the world, let's join hand in hand and create a future together.
