Jeanette Irekvist will assume additional responsibilities as President of Ericsson Canada, effective immediately, while remaining her position as the Vice President and Head of Customer Unit Canada and a member of Ericsson’s North America executive team. She takes over the role as President of Ericsson Canada from Graham Osborne, Vice President, Customer Unit Verizon.

“I am thrilled to take on the responsibilities as President of Ericsson Canada, particularly as we mark our 70-year anniversary of our operations here in Canada,” said Jeanette Irekvist. “Our world-class R&D centres, Canadian customer relations and operations, and of course our people, propel Ericsson’s innovation and competitive spirit globally. Jeanette has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Law from Lund University in Sweden. She also studied business and law at the University of Singapore. Jeanette was a founder of the Ericsson Diversity Council and is today the executive sponsor of Ericsson’s North America Sustainability Council.
