The Argentinian telecommunications regulator has granted SES a license to provide Information and Communication Technology Services, whether fixed or mobile, wired or wireless, national or international, with or without its own infrastructure in the country.

The National Communications Entity (Enacom) of Argentina published in a resolution that at the start of the provision of Fixed and Mobile Satellite Service, SES will be subject to compliance with various conditions.

The frequency bands of the satellite system used must be duly attributed to the service to be provided, both internationally and nationally, and, if applicable, the corresponding authorization for the use of the radio spectrum of the satellite system to be used must be obtained within the national scope.

The process of international coordination and notification of the mentioned satellite system networks must comply with the complementary provisions of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations.

The coordination procedure of said satellite system with the satellite networks of the Argentine Republic involved in the mentioned process must also be complied with.

Enacom emphasizes that the license does not imply an obligation on the part of the State to guarantee the availability of radio spectrum frequencies for the provision of the registered service. The authorization and/or permission to use radio spectrum frequencies must be processed before the entity.
