Arelion is set to integrate Gold Data’s dark fiber route into its existing network, enhancing connectivity diversity for wholesale and enterprise customers operating between key data centers in Mexico.

The collaboration focuses on leveraging dark fiber infrastructure to interconnect Arelion's point-of-presence (PoP) at KIO Networks's MEX 5 data center in Tultitlán with its PoP at KIO Networks's QRO1 data center in Querétaro.

The fiber route has been constructed completely underground, allowing Arelion to provide on-demand, resilient connectivity services through Gold Data's high-performance infrastructure.

This collaboration underscores the companies' commitment to supporting Latin America's economic growth through high-capacity, low-latency connectivity while enhancing service resilience and advancing Mexico's position as a leading digital hub in the region.

Arelion’s PoPs in Querétaro serve as vital hubs, providing streamlined access to content and applications for customers across Guadalajara, San Luis Potosí, and Mérida.

Additionally, through its extensive fiber-optic footprint in Latin America, Gold Data brings deep regional expertise to the partnership, supporting Mexico’s expanding cloud, information and communication technology (ICT), and manufacturing industries with high-speed, reliable connectivity and digital transformation initiatives.
