The inaugural Proof of Concept (PoC) program at Fiber Connect 2022 featured collaborative projects among Fiber Broadband Association member companies. PoCs were asked to demonstrate how fiber broadband allows the innovative services and applications driving the Gigabit Economy to deliver more value to communities, companies and people than with other broadband delivery options.
Each PoC showcased at Fiber Connect was evaluated by leading industry analysts, and three PoCs were awarded in the following categories:
- Most Innovative Award: Fiber for our Broadband Future Now, presented by Nokia.
- Best Community Impact Award: Deliver a Superior Subscriber Experience in a Rapidly Changing Environment, presented my Calix.
- Game Changer Award: Supporting Cities to Get Smarter and More Connected with an Open and Scalable Residential Broadband Solution, presented by Ciena, Plume, and Benu Networks.
